Design Note

Each storyboard page documents the instructional purpose, course content, learner interaction, feedback, and development direction for the executive dashboard experience. Purpose

Establish the executive dashboard as a leadership visibility and decision-support system and distinguish it from staff and manager views.

Content

Defines the executive dashboard as a controlled review path for readiness, continuity, approval authority, and organizational direction. Compares Staff, Manager, and Executive views and reinforces that executive use centers on direction, documented decisions, ownership, and accountability.

Purpose

Content

Focus areas: department readiness and cross-functional alignment; internal approval bottlenecks and governance risk; operational risk ownership; compliance and documentation status; resource allocation and budget authority. Snapshot indicators: Department Readiness, Open Initiatives, Training Completion, Open Risk Items, Business Unit Status, and Budget Marker vs. Target.

Operational Health Score and Readiness Bars

Purpose

Teach the learner how to interpret the operational health score, trend, areas needing attention, score basis, and department readiness bars before acting.

Content

The course explains that a healthy score means broadly stable, not risk-free. It is an operating signal based on tasks, approvals, risk, and training. Lower readiness percentages indicate places requiring deeper review, with REV-CORP-EX-302 used when a readiness bar is below target.

Purpose

Alert labels: Overdue, Missing, Delayed, and Decision Needed. The Reporting Snapshot helps identify monthly activity or status items that are ready, on track, or require review. The routing guide points to FORM-301, REV-302, SUM-303, or APR-304 based on the issue.

Purpose

Content

The scenario involves two of six areas needing attention, a delayed internal rollout, a budget reallocation awaiting sign-off, readiness concerns in compliance documentation and training, a recurring issue across two reporting periods, and a request for temporary project support and budget reallocation.

This is a worked scenario, not a learner decision question. The course presents a six-step recommended workflow: review the dashboard, open FORM-301 if appropriate, open REV-302, open SUM-303, open APR-304 if needed, and document the executive decision. Purpose

Confirm learner understanding of the dashboard’s purpose, document selection, executive decision boundaries, monthly trend review, and the applied scenario.

Content

The built assessment is nine course screens: Knowledge Check Introduction, Questions 1 through 7, and Quiz Results. The seven questions cover dashboard purpose, REV-302 selection, responding to incomplete “decision needed” alerts, APR-304 selection, SUM-303 purpose, the executive-vs-staff boundary, and why the scenario requires executive review.
